Jaylon was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Both of his parents, Wavlon and Cantrell Johnson are dynamic vocalists and his father is also a bassist. Jaylon's musical interest began in church, as he would find the seat closest to the drums Sunday after Sunday mimicking every move made by the drummer. Jaylon's passion soon moved from drums to lead guitar. Even with having an interest in multiple instruments, it was only a matter of time before he would follow in his father's footsteps, becoming one of Memphis's premier musicians.
Jaylon has toured the country, sharing the stage with artists such as Pastor Tim Rogers, Lisa Knowles-Smith & The Brown Singers, Pastor Darrel Petties & Take 2, Souls Of Creation, Pastor Marcus Newson, Echoaires, Fred Perry & 2nd Generation, and Meant By God.
Jaylon currently serves as the bassist for Yo Gotti, The Sensational Wells Brothers.
